Canadian Independent College (CIC), formerly the North Wilmot School founded in 1964, is located on 11 acres of picturesque valley in the Waterloo Region. The college is in one of the Canada's fastest growing technological and economic areas, often called Canada's Technology Triangle.

ESL Program Introduction

Canadian Independent College offers comprehensive interactive programs designed to assist students whose first language is not English. Our experienced teachers and staff will design a specialized English curriculum to address the following key elements: Literacy Skills, Reading and Writing, Presentations and Speaking Skills, Communication in the Business World, Studies in Literature, and Understanding Media, Science, and Technology. CIC will provide both short term and long term ESL programs ranging from a one-month intensive program to ten months.
