LQ LINK is located in the centre of one of Toronto's most exciting midtown neighbourhoods. Toronto is Canada’s largest city and the country’s economic and cultural centre. With almost 2.5 million people who make Toronto their home, living here is an exciting, multicultural experience. Community and cultural events such as street festivals take place regularly; or you can just enjoy a coffee and some people watching at one of Toronto’s many sidewalk cafes. If you prefer quiet and want to relax, Toronto has 1, 500 parks. It is no surprise, therefore, that Toronto is also called “a city within a park”.
ESL Program Introduction
Intensive English: Our intensive English classes focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our textbooks concentrate on the way English is spoken and written in modern North American society. This gives our students the opportunity to study and use natural English in real-life situations.
Business English: Our business courses are designed to bring the world of international business into the classroom. We offer three level of business English, so that students with a need for and an interest in developing their business language skills can study no matter what their level. Our business program includes all skills: listening, speaking reading and writing based on interesting and up-to-date topics, such as career building, globalization, business travel and advertising.
TOEFL / TOEIC / IELTS: Many of our students plan to enter a North American college or university or apply for a position in an international company. This usually requires proof of English skills. We therefore offer high quality TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS courses to prepare students at intermediate level and above for these tests. Our teachers have many years experience teaching these courses, and use up-to-date material with real tests to give students the opportunity to write several tests before taking the official test in an exam centre. Students also have many opportunities to use advanced learning software in our modern computer room.
