ESL Program Introduction

The Intensive English Program (IEP) at Colorado State University has over 30 years experience providing English instruction to students. Our international students progress toward their academic, professional or personal language goals using our up-to-date computer and language lab with full access to the internet. Students from over 25 countries study in small classes during each of the 7 week terms. The IEP serves students who have received conditional admission from CSU and offers "GATEway", a program that allows international undergraduate students to take Colorado State University courses while completing the Intensive English Program. Classroom instruction is complemented by a fully developed activities program providing community interaction and Colorado sightseeing trips. The IEP is an essential part of Colorado State University, known worldwide for its top programs in such fields as engineering, veterinary medicine, water resources, forestry, agricultural science, human sciene, natural sciences, business, atmospheric sciences, and more.
