Live as part of an English-speaking household. You'll have your own bedroom, and eat breakfast and evening meals with your hosts.
It's a great chance to meet native Angelenos and share their way of life. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.
In LA Long Beach, our Homestay households are all within 60 minutes' travel from the school. Although it is part of a large city, the Long Beach area has a real beach community feel to it, allowing students easy access to the city while being in very comfortable surroundings.
For students who would like more independence.
In LA Long Beach, our student residences take the form of modern, comfortable luxury apartments. The shared room apartments provide high-speed wireless internet and cable television; there are private bathrooms and laundry facilities.
Each apartment also includes a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Students will enjoy resort-style living with outdoor amenities including a swimming pool, spa, volleyball, gym, and community movie theatre room.
A free continental breakfast is served Monday-Friday, and a delicious brunch every Sunday. This is a great option for students who would like more of an independent living option while enjoying Los Angeles.
Guest room bed and breakfast
Rooms in private homes in the local LA area. A continental-style, self-service breakfast is provided each day. This is a slightly less personal option than Homestay, because the host, while available for initial guidance and orientation, will not necessarily socialise with you. Thus, it's a good option for those who would like a degree of privacy, and also suits couples.
We can advise you and also help you book accommodation in a number of recommended hotels and apartments. Please contact us if you would like more advice about accommodation.
