Columbus, Georgia is a city of 250, 000 on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. It offers southern hospitality as well as a 25 mile rails to trails biking path, whitewater rafting, Infantry Museum & IMAX, Uptown shopping with a Saturday farmer's market on Broadway as well as parks and shopping. There are city buses. Atlanta, where you can enjoy fast paced big city attractions, is less than 2 hours away.

ESL Program Introduction

The English Language Institute at CSU offers 5 levels of instruction/20 hours a week. A placement test is given at the beginning of each semester. Our class size is small. Our semesters follow the university calendar offering 2 16 week sessions and 2 6 week summer sessions. Our teachers have bachelor degrees or higher and are TESOL certified. Our program will prepare you for the TOEFL and easy admission to an undergraduate or graduate program at CSU.

CSU has apartment style dorms. Dorms must be paid for in full at the beginning of each semester. Apartments are located close to campus. Rent is due each month. Furnished/unfurnished available.
