Wilson is located in Chambersburg, an historic and charming town in south central Pennsylvania. Chambersburg is centrally located 97 miles (156km) from Baltimore, MD 96 miles (155km) from Washington, DC, and within easy driving distance of Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA.
Wilsonís beautiful 300-acre campus is safe and secure and includes gracious lawns and rolling hills on the banks of the Conococheague Creek. The new Lenfest Student Commons, a $4.5 million state-of-the-art facility for students opened in October 2002.
ESL Program Introduction
Wilsonís small student to faculty ration (12:1) fosters a personalized learning environment that stimulates individual growth and academic excellence. The College is privileged to be one of only 262 colleges in the United States that has a Phi Beta Kappa chapter Ė a national, premier honor society. Academic offerings include more than 40 areas of study in the humanities, sciences and social sciences.
International students also receive the support of an International Student Advisor as well as English as a Second Language classes, as needed. Modest financial aid is available for academically talented international students. Student life offers more than 20 student-led organizations that focus on academics, athletics, government/leadership, publications, special interests, such as the international club, and social activities. Athletes may choose from eight NCAA Division III teams; Field Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Gymnastics, Hunt Seat Equitation, Softball and Tennis. International students also have Conversation Partners, Friendly Families (host families) and many special trips around the region!

Special Courses & Features
On-campus housing is available and affordable. Freshmen, sophomores, and transfer students shoulde expect a roommate. Upperclassmen may have single rooms. Residence halls are conveniently located in the center of campus with easy access to the fitness center, dining hall, post office, activities center, and lounges. Our staff prides itself on being available and approachable. Ongoing training is provided to residence staff to assure they are capable of providing assistance to residents.
